I changed the shortcut to an even cuter picture. One hell of an experience, ended up going to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, had about 2 hours sleep since wednesday so it all seems like a dream now im sat back here at my PC.

Changed my desktop picture to him, it think it will start to sink in now

Yeh Mummy was ok, it was traumatic for her though.

We called Redditch Hospital on wednesday morning like we were told to, and they said call back in an hour as they were very busy! They must have called Worcester hospital for us because they rang us and asked us to go there instead! So more unwanted stress going to a strange hospital on short notice.

Got there about 1pm Wednesday, and we had to wait even longer for a bed, so they didnt start inducing labour until about 3:30pm wednesday. Nothing happened though, and on thursday they had another look at her and said if she doesnt start labour soon then she will have a Caesarian section! That shit her up as she didnt want to be in bed for 6 weeks after!

But sure enough the drugs they had been putting up her took effect and her waters broke at midnight thursday, and with the drugs they have given her the baby was coming quickly. If you know what cervix dilation means, she went from not dilated at all, to 6cm dilation in 15 minutes, which is fast apparently. Too fast for them to give her any drugs, so she pushed him out without any pain relief at all bless her.

When his head popped out he was blue, and the midwifes saw the cord was wrapped around his neck, so we all shouted at her to push push push, and he came out screaming with arms stretched out and then went a nice pink colour. Because she hadnt been given any pain killers both mum and child were awake and alert, it was much better for them both.

I cut the cord, really felt chewy trying to cut through it, while trying to hold his arms and legs out the way it aint easy!

So yeh, amazing experience, definitely worth it

I chaged his first nappy, it was like dark greeny black death in there, and I have been pissed on twice now lol

I probably smell like wee, but I wouldnt change it for the world.
