Hey, I have this PC:
Mobo: Gigabyte 770T-UD3 770 AM3
CPU: AMD Phenom 965 @ 3.5 GHz
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 460 1GB DDR5
HDD: SAMSUNG F3 500GB
RAM: Kingston 2x2048 MB 1333 MHz CL7, HyperX, XMP
I want to ask...would be everything OK if I bought one 2 GB stick of Kingston RAM 1333 MHz CL7 WITHOUT XMP? Maybe you're wondering, why not 2x2 KIT, I can't buy KIT, because slot which is near to CPU is unusable. Arctic Cooler is too big and there is no way how to turn it around.
I heard that some motherboards don't like running three slots, that's why I am asking.

| if you're asking if you can buy one more ram stick in addition to your other 2 then don't do it; you'll lose the dual-channel..

| And do u think is it better to have dual channel now besides 6 GB of RAM? bad is that it would be 3x2, not 2x3...

| Well i have 8GB of ram but a 2GB stick is faulty so im just running at 4GB atm because when i try run it with 6GB my comp hardlocks n i have to manual reboot.So imo stick with the 4

| yea you dont really want to loose the dual channel, does give quite a good boost

| 64 bit here i wouldnt have bothered with the extra RAM if i was on 32 obviously
