The new server is very good. I find the server name and URL permanently on the screen bloody annoying, but hopefully that'll get fixed. The new nitro mode is great - you can decide exactly how much you want to use, maybe keeping some back for some quick overtaking later on. Race mode has a problem I think with the powerups being difficult to see, especially when at high speed or if there is a checkpoint in front of them, so there's something to look into. Apart from that, it gets the Baggy seal of approval, which is worth about 6p.

the name and url arent supposed to be in the middle of the screen, i think its a problem with resource downloading or so, they should be in a box in the upper right corner; they appear in the middle of the screen because the box is not there..

I don't have the name and URL problem, it is where it should be, top right. Is it not down to peeps with widescreens, like the split times thing? For the record i'm running 1280x1024.
/setdelaypos 0.50 0.10 moves the splits to top center, a cockhair under the map running time, i find it far less of a distraction up yonder.

I run it at 1920x1200 and don't have a problem with the positions of the split times (they are in the top centre), but as mentioned have the bloody text onscreen all the time.

Some suggestions.
Firstly, a small thing - I was a bit confused earlier with the split times. I was bumbling along in an empty server and was doing ok on a map, and saw that the split times per checkpoint were (for example) +1.00 if I was one second faster than the top time checkpoint and -1.00 if I was one second slower. The plus and minuses are, imo, the wrong way around. If you're faster, then it should be with a minus.
Secondly - have we told the peeps who visit the old server about the new server? I was just explaining to Radeon that we have a new server and he had no idea. I think we should put a message every 10 minutes letting people know that the server is moving to MTA 1.0 - not all regulars visit the website. In addition, you say that the September championship will be based on scores from the new server, but you're still telling people in the old server that the championship is running. And, of course, the stats on this here website are still from the old server.
Thirdly, hows about some IRC action from the new server? It's fun to taunt people from afar.
Lastly, you didn't even bother to hold a party for either mine or Hitman's 1000th post. You arses.

you don't have a party for your 1000th post these days, you have to wait til you get to 1337!

Adiboy is a bit busy, but when he has time he'll look at getting the stats of the MTA 1.0 server on the site.
Looking at the stats, there's hardly anyone still playing on the old server. I changed the name, so hopefully everybody will notice that we moved.
I'll see if i can get the IRC thing working.

With MTA race, I never saw the name as I didn't connect with the browser. I just had the IP and port stored in the quick connect wotsit. It's worth putting a message in the chat window, I reckon.

about transfering the stats to the website im pretty sure its an easy thing; mta 1.0 already has its own mysql databases so all it has to do is update the website database with the local one

The clan logo in the top right isnt needed now you have the logo on the speedo, remove pls.
Also cant you reduce the size of the speedo by about 20%? And if you can do that, cant you also reduce the radar map by about 18%?

Perhaps also put the NOS meter somewhere near the speedo, rather than floating about on the left.

The NOS gauge placement can be set by each client, using the # key. However, since this key is only present in UK keyboards, I'd suggest to either nag the creator, or change the key yourself in the source.
