What's in a name?

We've all known each other for a while now, but for most of you lot I don't know where your nicks come from. Everyone knows that my name comes from a particularly low-hanging pair of beef curtains.

I can guess a few regulars - mrselfdestruct is a women who kills elves, Acid_Rain is named so because he causes severe irritation, and Virus comes from a particularly nasty strain of H1N1. What about the rest of you? What is a Pygsterik and why must I not forget to pronounce the Y? Why is Sys-Req named after a key from his keyboard - and what was wrong with Scroll Lock?

I used to read, guess what, when I was a kid. Then again, 2 of us have smth in common. Both like girls, pork, laugh, trees, dogs...; both are creative; both crash bones of those who piss us off (that's y i had c.r.u.s.h.e.r. nick too); both like blue-white (-silver) color combination...

hmm i was looking for not used cool and simply nick in web-game (thecrims.com) i was 13yo and nicks like "fighter" or "killer" were taken.. few days later when I downloaded some shit from the net (i dont download pornos

) my antivirus shouted virus, virus! So my idea was to check this nick in game... and vuala.

me, i wanted a name that no1 else has and something that will stick, hence the coolest name on the net

Needed a new nick; pressed some random keys on the keyboard and found colesan in the chaos of letters. Wanted it to be more exotic and exchanged two letters.

Well i got forced to choose another name (formely kun!va) because SK from tmm totally hated it when i kicked his arse on a regular basis on mta. lol fuckin big baby bet he's still a sore loser :wink:

Sputs was Sputnik, chosen partly cos i have a thing for outerspace and it was the first earth orbiting satellite up there, and it was quick as fook, and that tied in with MTA..

well am sure we already had a thread where we exposed our nicks "story" just dont remeber if it was on old forum or on this 1.
My nick goes back to GTamp server (my 1st mta experience as for mostly of u)and dunno why instead of racing (cus i was a noob) started printing screens of all races and racers, that was when i saw this litle letters on that key (Sys Rq) uhm wtf is Sys Rq (system request) did some research and found this command that almost no 1 knows or uses (Magic SysRq key-CONFIG_MAGIC_SYSRQ) its amazing wt this key can do to ur pc pressing some other commands ant its so obsolete to common users that i found nice idea use it as nick name. Later i leted Rq drop and used only d SyS cuz it fited nicier with our tag [SKC]

I remember the day like yesterday. It was a cold winter 21th of januari 1923. When I was a little kid, we didn't had money for a proper keyboard. My keyboard looked dirty and my 'u' was always stuck.
