Get together in GTAIV multiplayer with your fellow SKC members.

my machine wouldn't be able to run it anyway. Although I would love a ps3 I'm gonna get a 360 for the online content and shizzle. I bought a ps2 just for gta3, I'll let xbox be my next console purchase for gtaiv. gta = killer app.

Of course theres going to be a PC version! Why wouldn't there be? Rockstar can only benefit financially from releasing it on PC, and every other GTA game has been released on PC, only a few months after the consoles.

yeah, it's prolly just a rumour, you know how it is with gta. They give so little away that everyone has to speculate. I would obviously love a pc version, but it would mean a major upgrade for me so I'm not even gonna think about it at the moment. Back to your ps3 chat you rich buggers :lol:

My bro queued last night for it at midnight, he said people were waiting outside the store to get gta4 in the rain.....at night! sad fucks!! Hes coming around this weekend with ps3. Whack it on the 32", and play gta4 until it becomes unhealthy!!! booyeh!

LOL someone waited on rain? one of my friend pre-ordered it and hdmi cable for ps3, but at store they said to wait 6 days. then he was pissed off and got to some another supermarket, and there it was, 5 gta iv's on shelf, he took one and cancelled his order. handy i quess, no waiting

Xbox 360 is not healthy for the wallet.
People are saying it's a LOT cheaper than the PS3. :scratch:

There is apparently a problem with the 360 and a red-ring appears on the power button with two others lights indicating that there is a problem internally. As yoda mentions its the discs effing up. A common problem.

free blu-ray capabillity
free controller that can be used in a steering wheel motion or for a specific game.
free WIRELESS controller no batteries
and it's vvvvvvvvvvvvvery much quieter. The 360 is even louder than my HOOVER!

The only point the fan goes louder on the PS3 is when you hold the eject button, turn the PS3 off from the back, back on again and the fan shoots out a lot of dust and apparently this trick is used for removing dust from the fans (true or not, dunno) and so you can try this after a couple of months when your PS3 gathers up the dust.

Anyway, the game. I haven't got it yet but I will get after my examinations in a few months. It's worth a wait. All of you lot who are stuck between a PS3 and Xbox 360, not the Elite nooo. Complete ripoff with no bluray, no free wireless for free online play and the fan is JUST AS LOUD as the normal 360. Thats a 100% fact.

I mean if you wanted to get all of these things on a 360 (and some you cant like blu-ray or to play movies you have to buy a separate HD drive even!) it's going to total out the same as a PS3 but with less thing on. If you want to play GTAIV online, you have to pay Â£60! Â£60 for wireless adapter. Thats not cheap. The RROD problems also cost to repair. Thats not too cheap aswell. All adds up.

When you buy GTA IV i bet lots of you want to play online, well everyone will want to. more excitement and on PS3 the wireless and online play doesn't require a single penny. I'm not advertising it. I reccomend it to 1st time buyers as I think overall it works out better for the long term. And more games will come out on PS3 (as I have seen a large game section for 360 and a small one for PS3 with less games but that will change when PS3 drops price). But if someone likes 360, just buy it.

But still I see where you're coming from dave. Look at 360 elite. Thats Â£279 and makes same fan noise, HD dvd player useless as blu-ray have won on war so xbox dvd player useless. Just a larger HDD but overall i'd say that's not more than the PS3.

You get a free month with xbox live in with gtaiv, so getting online with gtaiv on xbox was simple. I still want a ps3 tho, it just doesn't feel right playing gtaiv with that big bulky xbox joypad.

I mentioned that just before.
Xbox 360 costs online and you have to buy points or if you want wireless you have to purchase that too.
PS3 is 100% free. No points, no subscription. It also gives you a wireless built into the console itself.

and u also dont get the much higher standard that xbox live has... so, my verdict, if u like online gaming more, buy xbox, if u want a higher standard of console, get PS3... like i wish i did dammit
