Some of you may have noticed I haven't been on the server for a long while now. The reason for this is that my DVD drive gave up the ghost so I can't use my GTASA disc. I've tried every nocd crack I could find, but my disc was a 1.1 that I had to patch to 1.0 and this seems to cause me problems using the nocd with MTA. Can any of you think of how I can get it working or point out what I may be doing wrong. 
It has been good for me not having MTA because I was playing MTA a bit too much and without it I've managed to get a lot of things done and got a bit of my life back. I've leant to cut my gaming down and do more productive stuff, but I still would like to have a game every now and then. Afterall, it's still a bloody good mod.

at least there's 1 that feels this way!
sorry but i cant help u with ur problem, only thing i'd suggest is to download the 1.0 version of the game from somewhere and do it that'a'way,
i got Tru-scot to send me a copy, worked a treat! and prob only cost him about 50p!! he's the man thats like a whole can of coke!

Yeah I'd go with hitmans idea. Download a copy form somewhere.
Or you could get a new DVD drive which you'll probably need anyway and they arn't exactly expensive.

| Yeah, I did have an old downloaded copy on my external HDD, but I deleted it just before me DVD buggered up (oh the irony). Downloadin always takes ages for GTA, took me about a week last time. I do need a new DVD and they are cheap as chips these days, I should just get off me arse and get one.

| Cheers hitman, but no need now. I've just put me DVD drive from me old pc in me main pc and it works fine. I sould have done this earlier, but I am just a lazy bastard.
