Hello SKC guys,
I'm goin on a spontaneous small trip to Belgium and Holland. We start tomorrow in Brussels, then we want to go to Bruges. Then maybe Antwerp, then up to NL Rotterdam/Den Haag/Amsterdam. Do you have some tips or is some other place better to visit than I mentioned?
Thanks !

Anyway, I'd skip Rotterdam, and also Den Haag maybe. Rather go to Utrecht, Amsterdam, Alkmaar or Haarlem, maybe even higher up, to Groningen. Or to smaller towns like Enkhuizen.
Totally depends on what you wanna do though, I'd stay away from touristy stuff like the Zaanse Schans, and rather:
- Visit the Afsluitdijk momument, and eat some glorious fried fish in Den Oever while you're at it - Take the old steam train from Hoorn to Medemblik - Visit the island of Texel (take the boat in Den Helder)

Brussels is not the most beautiful town in the world. I wouldn't spend too much time there if I were you. It's also an absolute pain in the ass to drive through. I literally spend 2 hours in traffic there yesterday, just to get to the center of town.
Bruges is super nice. Keep in mind that it feels more like an open air museum than an actual town though. If you want more of a living, breathing city you could go to Ghent instead. Both are definitely worth visiting.
Make sure you try out our food! A real Belgian Waffle and some fries with a bickyburger from a proper "frietkot". Very close to Bruges, is pretty damn good.

Thanks for the tips Whiskey! We will stay in Brussels only for one full day, so it will be enough I guess Brussels and Bruges is already booked, but maybe we can visit Ghent in the way to Bruges or after it. And we defentely have to visit your tip for a bickyburger! Sounds delicious!

The fries are the most important The bicky is just a popular snack that goes with it.

Nope, I live more to the west. Somewhat close to Bruges actually.

I'd take the train instead of the bus if i were you. Trains leave from the station near the beach, once every 2 hours. Check here:
Personally, i'd just take the car tbh. Car park 't zand is very close to the city center. Make sure you are out before midnight though, or you'll be stuck till the next morning.
