Hey computer equipment experts, I need your suggestions on buying these 3 things:
1. Monitor - I'm using 17" Samsung last 10ish years. I need some Landscape with HDMI input. I don't need the best ultra mega giga monitor, just one that'll get the job done, gaming mostly.
2. Mic - suggest me some (furry) background noise eliminating headset mic - I prefer mic following my head's movements to me leaning over the table to speak
3. HDD - again, one for gaming, videos and general stuff, 1TB is fine
Your help is more than welcome. Thanks.

Monitor and mic >> Just check the guides from this site:
"Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music."

HDD --> Just look for a Western Digital Blue 1GB at your local tech shop. Good brand, fast drive and not that expensive. Just make sure you get Western Digital BLUE and not red, black or green.

I have Reds in my PC, because they support TLER for my RAID setup, while still being relatively cheap.
If you're going for a single drive setup then Black might be a good choice too, because they have a performance advantage over the cheaper Blue ones.
Otherwise I'd go for a Blue in combination with a SSD drive.

Thanks guys, you're great.
So far I've been researching the matter a bit, and came to conclusion that TN > IPS monitors for gaming, because of refresh rates and response times. I can live with narrow angle of clear view, as I had all these years. And I'm not sure I'm ready for crystal clear images yet ^^ Also I'm not interested in having any big monitor, so I'll be looking at around 21".
HDD-wise, it's gonna be BLUE I think. MIC-wise, I've also realized desktop mics > headset mics, so I'll get some usb-mic.
And all this for a gaming YT channel that I'll start very soon hopefully ^^

HDD? Are you kidding? I just put Mushkin Reactor 1TB (SSD) in my HP DV6 and was amazed. Even though this only has a SataII controller, this laptop now flys. https://www.bestadvisor.com/ssds I am not telling you to buy the same, but nowadays HDD is dead. Hard drives win only on price and capacity. SSDs work best if speed, ruggedness, form factor, noise are important factors to you. If it weren't for the price and capacity issues, SSDs would be the hands-down winner.
