stupid xbox 360

right, heres my problem..

i rented Rainbow Six Vegas 2 from blockbusters last thursday, i accidentally dropped the fuckbox a little while the game was on, and low and behold it scratched fuck out of my disk..

heres some pics, can i repair this kind of scratch or are blockbusters going to try to fine me?

(and fuck off with the sarcastic comments)

Unlucky dude. Do Blockbusters have an insurance policy built into membership? If not they surely won't fine you more than the disc is worth. Or just hand it in a pretend like nothing ever happend.

Anyway, you can get these little kits that have a sort of turntable thing with a brush on it (hard to explain) and a bottle of fluid, they sort-of work, hit or miss though.

One of those.

Could atleast make the scratch less obvious using that fluid shite, but depends on how long you've got before returning the disk and how much that stuff is..

I'd be tempted to go with IG, and if you get busted., plead ignorance, say "well it was fine last night when i put it away, must be my kid...sorry i'll pay" lol

You can get scratch removers for under a tenner. Your disk doesn't look too badly scratched for this to work on but I really can't confirm on them working but may be worth the risk or just use the simplest method like IG mentioned by returning the game and paying full price for it. Up to you.

There is no other option because if you return the disk being damaged without YOU letting THEM know before THEY find out, it might be the last time they let you rent from there.

Fuck me. Give the Xbox a stare it doesn't like and it breaks. Consider yourself lucky it still works. I just got mine back from repair. Free month of Live so can't complain

The only good thing about it is xbox live which they make you pay for, it's like buying a car and having to rent the steering wheel on a monthly/yearly basis. Without it, it just sit's there collecting dust. Lol all xbox owners are just gutted they don't own a ps3

I got a RROD last night. I took my GTA disc out and restarted and everyything was fine. Still shitting it though. I've heard that RROD replacements are using the new boards, so RROD might actually be a good thing.

I read somewhere that the RROD is caused by microshit using crappy quality thermal paste and fans inside the Xbox 360. There are actually companies who buy up RROD'd machines and replace the thermal paste and fans with better quality ones, sell them on again, and make a profit.
The reconditioned ones are also much, much more reliable than microshaft's own.

Still a rip off, not only do they con you into buying the budget console which need's Â£100+ of additional hardware to make it worthy of the 'next gen' title it reckons it deserves. Where's the fucking harddrive? They had one in xbox1 and not in this one.. Cant play certain game's online without one. Why no wireless? Oh another add on.. Charger kit? Har har that'll cost ya.. And it still breaks game's, not once did my ps2 break a game and i seriously abused that console, i think this was my 6th game i ever played in the xbox, a little nudge and it completely ruined a game. It lag's, it's noisy, it costs too much, too many add on's.. Overall it's an average PC and no where near next gen.. Even my bro's year old pc is faster and better graphics than it.. I don't give the damn as I just have Fifa, Spiderman, CoD and many demo's on it. There are much more releases for the 360 though.
Prise-wise I bet the PS3 has a major pricedrop at christmas, 100% guaranteed and it'll be the best christmas present if you haven't got it yet.
