Ok, I dont want to be whiny and stuff so I will start with some pros cause I know they put so much time in this piece of software and its just amazing how they scripted all this and made GTASA like a new game.. Unfortunately there are some major cons..
> Some resources: - Fine ass nitro system.. you know what i mean.. this is a great resource, thumbs up! - To see the time +xx from someone behind u and -xx from the guy ahead.. awesome - and more.. just great
Customized cars: Phun!
Admin panel: Really well done, alot of options, etc.
Server list: Really well done, with many options, favorites and recently played.. good stuff
And there are more PROS, really..
> Pick ups: Problem is, you see them too late.. isnt there a way to fix it? If not, then this is a very bad thing about 1.0.
Lag: I get more screwed up by noobs then ever before.. "then avoid them blabla".. No you fcking fringe, i simply want to race without so many problems.. at this moment you just need alot of luck to finnish 1st, 2nd or 3rd. My suggestion is to set ghostcars at least in the first 15 seconds and/or in crowded places of a map. I dont know if its posible.
Buggy: Yeh, well sometimes buttons dont work or other little glitches and therefor you have to reboot MTA.. yeah, kinda crappy.. but ok, its not made by a professional software development company so wth D:
Why do i make this topic? Well i just want u guys to know what i find about MTA 1.0 but also because MAYBE we can improve some stuff and make racing on MTA more pleasant.

ye, i pretty much agree with all that.
I doubt theres something we can do about the pickup thing. Seems to be a drawdistance issue.
The lag is actually not that bad for me.
Theres one major issue for me, and thats the complete disappearance of all cars around me at times.

i agree with what u said too but i still think mta1.0 is better
the pickups issue can be fixed, im 100% sure it can the lag was there before too just that now there are way more ppl that join server just to see how they are, this means more noobs that dont care about ramming you, they just press W and when they see a corner also press A or D
ghost mode in the first 15 secs or in crowded areas? no thx, u can put gm at the start but whats the points, by the time you get out of the gm every1 else will, and maybe 60-80% of the players that started the race are in the same place with you so its the same
buggy? ofc its buggy; i never got into the button bug so dunno about that; @skey: at the start of the races cars dissapear: this means that guy is downloading the map and he's not ready to start; dunno if this happends during the race too, never happened to me

Had the disappearance prob in the begining, but touch wood i haven't seen it in a good while.
Plenty more noobs yes, but i think it'll settle down some in the long term, i'm thinking people are coming over from SAMP ect to check out 1.0 and haven't the foggiest about what constitutes proper racing. By the way, racing in the late evenings with the regulars when most of the noobs are tucked up in bed is by far better quality racing, more my cupa tea anyhoo.
Occasionally suffer lag, weird too, where you kinda surge forward, bit dodgy going round a corner, but that's all. Game crashes once in a while...not many bugs at my end, which reminds me, Crashkiller...if it's compatable..
I'm really liking 1.0, and liking the server alot, the NOS feature is simply the muts nuts, we just need to keep on shaping the SKC way of racing, lol corny as fuck that. Nah, I'm positive we're on the right road, it's all good

I have a major con happening with mta:
It times out on every attempt to connect to any server, and nobody is helping me over on the MTA site. They're pretty good at reading my posts here and replying to them on the MTA site though...
Oh look the latest suggestion is that it's some form of malware and may be system-wide. Eh, no, I don't think so, I think I'd fucking notice something happening system-wide.
