ever found it awefully hard to aim with the default bif fat red dot sniper well so did I so i made this
all you need is IMG tool V2.0 found here

using the img tool open the gta3.img found in ...\Gta_san_Andreas\Models
find the file called sniper.txd, right click it and choose "extract" save to any folder you want.
open up txd workshop and open the sniper txd you just extracted, in there there will be a picture called SNIPERcrosshair, click it to make it active just like a layer in Photoshop and at the top choose the button "Import" in the dialogue box locate the new file provided here. save the txd file
go to img tool, right click sniper.txd and replace it with the new one and voila you should have a better way of aiming. i didnt provide a complete TXD file because like me you might have different weapon models / textures and unlike modding cars this is not cheating, just makes the game look nicer
also if you use the graphics mod made by pldders in this forum, if you enable the bloom you will have a very nice bug/ effect just like this which makes it a bit more realistic
if you think this is in anyway cheating you are welcome to say it as i will most certainly not care at all.
