hey, just to let you know, you dont have to use /msg anymore; i just made a private messaging script.. pretty basic for now, just to talk with another guy

just do /pm <nick> and a window will pop out where u can send him messages
if you want to get back to playing then you can just click the pm window (preferably on the box that holds your messages) and then press F2; the window will still be there and you will also have control over the game

also when someone sends u a message the window will pop out but you wont lose control over the game... in this situation if u want to respond him press F2, click the bar where you have to type and thats it;

you can have how many windows u want, you can move/resize them, but they will always spawn in the same place, one over another; so to avoid talking with the wrong person just look in the window's titlebar, it will be something like this: PM WINDOW - <NICK>

feel free to post here any bugs/suggestions and stuff, nothing about windows tileing, maximizin and shit like windows has, im not bill gates' relative

well its a great option, but i just had troubles closing the box it didnt work
I pressed F2 2 seconds after typing but didnt close..

Edit: maybe this has to do with the 1.03 upgrade?

the only way to close the box is to press the Close button.. F2 just lets u use the mouse or not

ok, i got some updates, couldnt find out when your bugs appear with windows not being closed, never happened to me.. i did something that might help tho, so if it still happends pls try to note everything related to you/player who u pmed/other windows on the screen and tell me the details.. just if u want, im not making u

also, i added a text message in the middle of the box saying "Press F2 to get mouse control", it dissapears when u click anywhere in the box.. this only happends if the window isnt opened already

also added a small cursor change so you can see it better...

and one more thing i want to ask every1 who plays in the server: i made some small additions to the stats script adding sounds from unreal tournament like: Play, End of the round; Dominating (when u do streak)
do you want this sounds on the server or not? (the sounds are about 600KB in size)

ok, web stats work fine, F1 works fine, both personal stats and Top X stats
just beware using F1 too much bcoz everytime u do F1 you will receive the entire stats table from the server so if u have a slow connection it might slow u down a little

the Tops tab works like this:
- it always shows 10 players, their rank based on whatever u chose (Points, 1st,2nd,3rd or Games) and the actual value
- use the small editbox to see Top 100 for example.. just write 100 and press GO
- use the dropdown to select what u want to see, points, games ect.

feel free to post here any bugs you find out or any suggestions..
something i wanna add to it soon is a search option..

ahaha PM windows now got a 'Ignore' checkbox, i think its self-explanatory.
anyway, you will always be able to receive messages from admins

i love the ignore now, if i kill some guy sometimes he'll spam me to hell with pm messages. Of course the only fix for that would be to move teh box to the corner but ya. eetsaaah naicaaah addition bro :lol:

ok, i tried to improve the pm window a little

from now on whatever you talk with who you talk stays there as long as you stay in-game; that means if you close the pm window the messages will still be there if you re-open it

also made it so that if someone changes nick the window automatically changes to the new nick too

also when you first receive a pm from someone the window will go away after 2 seconds; you can either use /pm <nick> or F3 and go with the mouse above it to make it reappear

pm window bug: when u close the pm window and u get a new msg after closing it, it doesnt show the window again and u dont know that u got a new pm from that guy

and i think it would be better if the window goes only 80% transparent instead of invisible
