As you may or may not know, i've done a roadtrip to the SouthWest of the USA. Better known as San Andreas in real life
For those who asked, here are some pics.
Day 1 & 2: San Francisco
Alacatraz viewed from the piers

Sea Lions at pier 39

Turning the Cable Car at the end of the line

Aboard the cable car

Chinatown Entrance

Typical chinatown roof type thinghy

Any type of pain, we've got you covered!

mmmmm, beer

Bank of America Pyramid

Steep climbs everywhere

Skyline

Ferry Building

Y U NO JUMP?

Taking the ferry to Alcatraz

Seems cosy

The recreation yard

The "hole"

View over San Francisco from Alcatraz Island

Palace of Fine Arts, shameless rip-off

The Golden Gate Bridge!

On the bridge

OK WTF, this is getting a bit surreal...

DAY 3: Driving by the coastline

mmmmmmkay

DAY 4: Yosemite National Park
Tunnel View at the park entrance

Yours Truly

First Waterfall of the day

Crazy mofo's climbing El Capitan. The people are the little red dots at the top of the image. The stuff in the middle is their gear.

EL Capitan

Waterfall 2

Oh hello there!

Now this is a proper fall!

View from on top after a hefty hike.

Thank fuck for anti-slip hiking shoes.

DAY 5: Driving to Death Valley

Mono Lake

Landscape is starting to change...

DAY 6: Death Valley , ridiculous heat

Lowest point in the US, 282 feet below sea level

View from higher up with much cooler temperatures

DAY 6, 7 & 8: Vegas baby!
Our hotel

Day 9 & 10: Zion National Park

Went for a refreshing swim here since the heat was absolutely insane.

Day 11: Bryce National Park

Bought a hat

This little fella wasn't particulary impressed with our presence.

Awesome play of light

Day 12: Toadstool trail + Horseshoe bend

Sickest view in the history of everything ever

Barriers are overrated

Day 13: The Grand Canyon

Living life on the edge

DAY 14: Route 66

Oatman, a bit of a ghosttown

Our sexy SUV

DAY 15, 16 & 17: Los Angeles
Hollywood sign viewed from Griffith Observatory

View over downtown LA

Griffith Observatory and Planetarium

Universal Studios

Apollo 13

Your typical american fire truck.

The delorean from back to the future

Waterworld Show

Marilyn doing a lil dance

Epic traffic in LA

The walk of fame

Chinese Theatre

Madame Tussaud's

This one's for B!b

Venice Beach

Honestly a bit jealous. Always wanted to something like 'Sickest view in the history of everything ever' in real life. Also why no night shots of downtown LA. Is there anything to see on route 66 or is it only famous because it's their first highway?

Simply forgot to take the camera with me at night
I can't imagine doing a whole roadtrip just following route 66. In most places it's been replaced by the regular interstates. The part we did was from Williams Arizona to Lake Havasu city in Cali. That was still the authentic road. Especially the stretch around Oatman was impressive in the sense that you were driving there all by yourself on a visibly old road through pretty cool scenery. It's definitely a different feeling than cruising down the highway. Other than enjoying the drive there's really nothing to do though
