i have a virus that imitated the security centre and when deleted stuck my CPU at constant 100% as well

the thing is guys *serious* this is a new virus and it's supposed to be very dangerous. No anti spyware can pick it up It stops you from accessing the internet. you know if you have it because it imitates the security centre and constantly keeps telling you that you have viruses.
How it starts:
It will shut down your internet browser and display the security centre.
Whatever you do, do not try to close it with the red cross, this installs it (as i have found out) instead press Alt+F4.
The comp that got infected i only use to play games and watch movies, no internet surfing or anything. but yestaday as soon as i fired up firefox and went to google. It died.

this only happens if you're not careful... i didnt get a virus in over 5 years.... and i can tell you that i surf the web a lot and you know web is full of viruses..
just stick with a good anti-virus, let it update everyday, scan everything you download that might have a virus and you cant do anything wrong....

| Well I am safely back on the main desktop computer albeit with only the internet and my music back on. Slowly going through the process of adding stuff back hopefully will be back playing online in a couple of days

| I had hoped to be back online by now but the replacement hard drive only threw up even more problems, namely with the all-important graphic and sound cards. Dammit.

good news for those who care or missed me or whatever, I have a working computer finally! Just reinstalled GTA and downloaded MTA again so hope to see you back on the server soon
