Well the title says about that I want to talk.

Camping should be punished more than now in my opinion. You didn't like when i banned blender, but here i go with him again.

It really isn't fun to play with campers, trust me - that's same for DD and DM

Especially in MW event I noticed there are a lot of campers, who ruin good players' game. Everytime I join DD or DM, I just have one target - CAR on DD and HUNTER on DM obviously.
But DD campers only fight when they are forced to. (Example is blender)

Maybe you don't understand why I care about the "fail" servers, but I still think there should be same rules for every player, until DD and DM server has the SKC in the name.

I agree. When there is no MW, the death list fills up rather quickly. But when MW is on, it often takes all of the map's time to finish the round. It's ridiculous. People don't hit others in MW unless they're forced to.

I think there should probably be an admin online in MWs in each server to help preventing this problem.

No, don't take out points. Some admins can be unreasonable. If you can have an admin supervise, then just kick the dumb player out the server.

Also, blender never talks lol

DM: Easy solution, you need to get a vehicle pickup (hunter, baron or sparrow) to qualify for getting points. This should be scriptable i suppose?

DD: Script something like this: If HealthLost < 5% within Last 60 seconds
Then KillPlayerWithoutPoints.
This would force you to fight. Not sure how feasible it is to script that + it would probably need some finetuning. The basic idea seems good though, no?

What if the "Camper" camps as usual and hits a object or goes up/down a ramp to lose HP on purpose to avoid the timer finishing and avoiding fighting with others.

How about a special group that can start a vote against a camper and players would vote whether a player is a camper or not. If people say he camps, the camper would lose 10-20 points? And maybe also killing him in the round

Well it might be possible;

When a player loses health we'd have to check wether there's a bounding box of another vehicle in the bounding box of his vehicle.

Meanwhile this is still in discussion or being scripted, some admins should join DD during MW because it has gotten out of control. Map timers eventually reach 0 because everyone drives around avoiding each other and start fighting when there is only 10 seconds left...

I hope the idea is being developed. Some people camp and have the mentality of camping as a "basic gaming strategy" or reply to you saying "it's part of dd" and such when you talk to them. They run around, do 1 hit then run away. Or they block from the top of a certain place and camp there while considering it "part of DD". I'm sure Atom can back me up on this

Seif stop talking about me and telling me a camper.
Only one time i blocked people from doing the dm part.
I just play my own tactic and it's a mix between run and intelligence ramming. You should see Ghost, he is ramming and then just pushing me like stupid. And Seif, I just want dodge this moments, when many players are on one position, because then a player with speed comes and will ram me out -> death.

This could you call "Hardcore"-DD-playing. But I try to trick the player and then ram him out, before he can ram me / or the noobish way: push me out.

omg, there isnt this much moaning on the race server during mw.. this must really piss ppl off badly..

what about a proximity checker? if you dont get 10 ft close to somebody in 1 minute, bang, you lose 25% of your total hp... this can only happen 4 times at most, considering you dont lose hp while driving or from other sources..
this isnt hard to script and it seems a good idea..
and we can add a rule too: whoever tries to avoid this check will be banned; it isnt hard to spot...

afterall its our server, we make the rules; after banning half the server during the first mw im sure they will get it and stop camping

this is for dd at least; about the dm server the only idea that comes into my head is: if they dont have a server where to camp they wont camp..

The whole server isn't you, Ghost and 2-3 newbies.
There is even no rule, how you should play Destruction Derby, if you want you can try ram everybody, your problem then is that you always get suddenly rammed out of this shit-tactic - my experience.
