Hey All,
I haven't played in quite some time so hopefully most of you remember me...
Just curious as too >WTF< the new script is all about in the DM/DD server?
From what i gather it was put in place a few months ago because it would stop campers winning or getting high point or something like that?
Worst move ever, i'm surprised nobody has said the same (as far as i'm aware everyone likes it?)
Doesn't really fix the camper issue anyway, All majority of people have to do to get points now is give a wee tap on a car and it automatically counts as them killing you, Like... i can tap a car, then suicide myself and they get the kill even though nobody actually killed me? o_O
I'm no noob and i can do all the mashing bashing and flinging cars off the side but all it takes is one other person for the car to accidentally hit off and "bam" not my point >.<

With the old system you got punished for fighting, now you get rewarded. Exactly how can this be worse?
I'm not saying it's a perfect script, but it sure is better than the default system.

Simple... whoever was doing the punishing with the old system (assuming it's admin/lamemod) shouldn't have it... the whole idea of DM/DD is you kill, so been punished for it is rediculous to begin with.
You may get rewarded in a sense... but it's just far easier for people who don't even know how to play the game too win greater points, because all you gotta do is be in a huge gangbang and have all the cars fall and you get loads of kills.
Good work on the script, i'm not dissing it... i just don't think it's the best for a DM/DD where the whole idea is you kill

| So giving points for killing people is not a good idea because the whole idea of DD is is killing? Makes perfect sense.

I am not too familiar with DD gamemod, I am not even going to say you are wrong, but this resource force/motivate players to fight, not just driving around the map and avoid crahes. So in my opinion it is a good thing.
We had tons of complain about players who camp and wait till almost everyone die.
Sure, this resource has some weekness, but I just played on the server (checked new maps) and actually it was much better than it was used to.

| Everybody loves to point out the flaws. Instead of whining, suggest an improvement for the script. Going back is not an option.
