Maps to delete!

For some reason there are alot of ancient maps on that just shouldnt be, I wont blame anyone, but needless to say years of deleting them only to see them come back is painful for me :wink:

So rather than get angry and cry, lets move forwards and try to get on with our lives....without them.

Please delete these maps:

bike rally
crank
desert cruise
lasventuras runaround

I will report back here when I find more, over and out.

Oke, removing those maps... I'll try to short/fix them "after" other maps.

Can we use this space for a fix-list? If you or other peeps found a bugged map, warn me (with cps/details). =)

I think only maps who not load or bugged should be deleted, not because X or Y dont like it, do you think of others players? maybe someone will like the map that you want to be removed, I remember on race server, when a shitload of reversed circuits came to the server, i hated them so much and you see a request on forum from me to remove them ? No because i knew some players liked to play them... A map that everyone loves is just impossible

I've been slowly removing the old shite maps, but on the other hand new shite maps have been pouring in.

If you spot any map with obvious technical defects or just painfully-boring-to-race maps, take a note of their names and post them here. If a consensus is reached, I'll swiftly remove the offending maps.

To commemorate the 700th map mark, I've deleted the following maps:
- Drift City: an exact copy of Crosstown Traffic without the stuntplane finish.
- W Rally: V Rally in a Rancher. Just say no to duplicates!
- Hotring Sunrise: aka SKC Comet Sunrise with Hotring.
- Urban Circuit Reversed: Just say no to clearly insuperior reversed map versions!
- Fine Time: Too long, with some problematic vehicle choices. It is possible that it may return in a much reduced version.

Next to be axed, but still waiting for your input, are the following:
- Special Delivery
- Find The Cock

If no positive reviews are given here, they too will be purged.

Another set of almost identical or reversed maps have been spotted:
- Dirtring Mesa vs. Dirtring Monster
- Drift vs. Drift Reversed
- Wu Zi Mu vs. Farewell My Love
- Indigo Speedway vs. Indigo Speedway Reversed

Again, your input will influence the fate of these maps.

I prefer mesa over monster.
Keep both drift maps imo.
Keep both wu zi mu and farewell my love as well.
You can delete indigo reverse.

Most of the maps has only 1 or 2 rating, i think we need to wait for more ratings before saying if a map is good or bad

And since the command thing is up since a few time, what about removing all ratings and see what's people think? I mean constructive comments instead of 'shit map' or 'delete this map'

when i added reasons in the /rate command i also removed all ratings that were 3 or less so every rate that is below 3 has a reason
anyway, ill make a special page for map admins in the new forum to help them track maps more easily by the number of ratings and stuff
