Ok i have nearly finally completed work on all the race maps, ive just been going through them once more in the last week, mainly just making them all look nicer, and i reduced respawn time on them too, i think this will make racing more popular on our server, might cause isuues with watching for a cheat, but u can always deletetime and ban someone, so 4sec respawn shouldnt be an issue, and if you really think someone cheats but arent sure, then put it on grandvalley, no rs on there, no problem. We shouldnt have to adjust rs times for cheats anyway, we have enough eyes watching for them...
I added a few maps back in, and removed a few of KB's shitter maps, i added a repair here n there to keep moanin fags quiet, and removed some bugs totally, but in general the main thing iv done in this last week is make them all look better,....if they look good, then people enjoy them more after playing them for 2 years, so happy days, im nearly done.
and IG i just got ur message 5mins ago, a while back i nearly made it 1 lap, its too long, make 2nd lap in a slower car and it would bore the pants off people, and noobs would quit, and mta might die [lol], and the pickups are in the perfect places, if u save boost, u wanna make it easy for noobs? or a serious race????????? Vegasbaby is perfect, cheetah is like a slower turismo, its perfect to have turismo for 2nd lap they complement eachother, please, i dont do things by accident, ask me when to boost if u dont know, dont just say 'its shit'

I see what you're saying and agree to an extent. The problem I have with the lack of health pickups is that ppl who get rammed don't have the pick ups to replenish if needed. But I'll go with it.
I have also noticed that 'Under The Bridge' map is not on the map list. Is it still on the server? Any reason for it's absence?

I just started with it actually, ive moved the cps closer to the first few hard corners, so if u do die, u respawn with nitro close to where u died, u only had 1 cp at each corner so u respawned way back 2cps miles away, and ive added alot more nitro,....u still have to save boost though, and save your car...and actually i did test the turismo alot, and i agree actually, it doesnt get sideways enough, apart from the cheetah, bullet seems easiest to slide round tight corners, and takes more damage than turismo too

Great work! Just remember that lightning is important aswell. A dark map is boring and hard to see in, but a bright map is more pleasing for the eye and easy to see things in. Just a tip, since i'm a Level designer myself. But maybe you already knew about that.

I know, some roads at night in gtasa are completely black at night! omgz, and some people do have flat screen TFT's with low contrast ratios too......omFgz!!!
Set up your screen bright enough, if using ATI gfx, it doesnt apply brightness properly to gtasa i think, just install Ray's ATI TRAY TOOLS, and create a brightness profile in it
But alot of people, new to making maps, just throw cps together and think its a good race, and just leave it at that...
so that meant about as much as 50% of ALL maps are just left around midday, all bright and glarey on the eyes, and no one bothers to use the lovely time effects in gtasa,....no variety....
Lights come on after 8:30pm, and go off again at 6:30am, it its a race mainly in a city, use the cities lights!
If its in the country, use morning and evening sun to create some nice sunrises and sunsets
Big clouds at 5am create a golden sunrise, with low fog!
Maps start to get darker quickly from 8pm, and get light quickly again at 6am
Not long now, 30 maps left...
[edit] oh yeh just remembered, u mentioned "suicide is painless" IG, cant put that map on rs off, it would make it have less boomage
I have edited the cps tho, so now on the pit side of the track, if u do die, u respawn at the same side, i just doubled the cps on the one side, but not on the barrel jump side, that would create a respawn death loop....
I just thought actually, all my racetraciks i make, i put nitro on the track, and repair in pits [obviously] but on that track nitro is with repair in the pits....itd shorten the race times too....and noobs would spin more,....and itd make the centre jump easier if u get rammed....right, theres now nitro on the track

I couldnt remember the name, then i did test under the bridge again, and its a long race around a part of san andreas done many many times over again, the only interesting part of it is the start, do well at start and u should win if you race ok, i thought it rather average, unusual start, 1 good jump, but mainly long and boring.....keep the input coming though, just u wait, i think this change in the maps will make the biggest difference, when whiskey uploads them....
