just reading up on 1.3 fixes and there is something about ebay cars being faster online, did anyone know about this? its news to me what sort of bs is that :shock:

yes ebay cars can be a lot faster than brand new showroom cars but only up to 5%. however there is a file which dictates this and people have found a way to open it and edit the min and max threshholds for the performance boost to any value they like. thats what they talk about in the patch

but as i said buying of ebay can give faster cars than brand new shoroom models

ok people, it's time to up the level of difficulty. I'm somewhat able to attach my wheel after all.

Everything certainly got alot more harder now
but not because there's no driving assists.

'twas alright on Ranked last night - first race was prematurely ended by a bizarre incident on the straight that I think also cleared Kris as well - car appeared to be coming backwards towards me, even though collisions forward was switched on?

Another thing I don't understand - on a private match, you can specify whether to have assists for all players. I thought that the ranked match last night was set up with no assists - but I still had my assists on. Surely if a match is set to have assists off, then the game will switch them off when you're playing in it?

@ Dave i dont know why ur assists worked as all mine was turned on and in the server we were playing they was all disabled.(but you are still able to use auto gears) And i did enjoy the no assist races more, it seemed to be more closer racing and i didnt notice any tossers trying to barge people off :shock:

no center spring
no combined pedals
360 degrees of rotation (or thereabouts)

in Grid I set force feedback to be On, 80% 80% 80%

Im runnin this setup dave
In the profiler:

overall 100%
spring 0%
damper 0%
center spring 100%
no combined pedals
180 degrees of rotation (i find it much easier to get full lock with this setting)

in Grid 70% 70% 100%
i was realy struggling with ur setup only thing i realy changed is enabling centre spring i find it helps you keep the car steadier, anyways if anyones up for a sesh ill be on xfire in a bit.
Think ive got the hang of the G25 but i struggle a bit in the prototypes but its all good fun :lol:

new bonnet cam position works better with some cars n its a good view when you look left n right u can see whos bye ur side a lot better
