Not sure if 75% of the maps on the server are circuits (though I wouldn't mind if it was) - but suggests that track racing is the most popular type of map. I would agree with you that I'd like to see a few more gtasa-terrain maps (perhaps in place of some of the achingly boring loop-the-loops? )

Most people make circuits, thats why.

And what exactly is the difference between a circuit and a rally? Apart from laps i mean...

 No really, explain...

I dont understand, the race starts, some people try to win, and 1 person wins, its the same.

I'm an avid F1 fan, so for me, circuit tracks are gr8. I remember playing "Grandvalley" for the 1st time and n00bed every corner....but after a few races it felt so good to be getting the corners right and having close races with folks. I did start off by making SA based maps, but after seeing HT's 1st speedway, a simple but very, very good circuit, I wanted to see more races like this. I started knocking em out quite quick, but then I noticed ppl complained about them, so I made more SA based maps. The SA based maps are much harder to make, cuz you need to be much more imaginative with your route. You have to think of doing or going someone no one has been b4, or not a lot. There are a lot of parts of SA that get used a lot and finding a decent route can sometmes be difficult. There are quite a few parts of SA that quite boring to race on and there are parts that are awesome (but obviously ussed a lot) so to bring something fresh to the table gets tougher. I find I spend more time thinking about the route in an SA map than I do making a custom track. There are quite a few SA based maps that when they start I think, "i cant be bothered to do this" cuz i know the route is crap, but very few custom tracks i hate.

Anyway, my point (if you can call it that) is that SKC has a lot of regular players and a very responsible map manager. There are alot of opinions and as long as they all let their voice be heard this server will always have a balanced and fair array of maps to play. Its rare I hear someone complain about a map on this server and thats a very good thing. Keep up the good work everyone (especially HT) nice one!

I just played these 13 'new' maps......

KB 1 i am particularly proud of. I have never seen a LawnMower race, but the vehicle seemed to fit the track perfectly. And after playing it online, it was actually fun!! If the track is small enough, even a lawnmower seems fast! nice track KingBong!
