So if you finish over 10 seconds behind you get no time bonus
It Seems like a really simple, easy and fun way to adapt the current system

MTA is a racing game, not a time trial game. If you mostly play on a full server you'll have a massive disadvantage compared to people playing by themselfs or with very few people online.
The championship has never been as close as it is now. It think the system we have now is working quite good actually, i really dont see the need to make it more complicated.

The points system is the best so far The amount of maps with the type luck is takin the piss a bit, ive noticed pretty much every map with a crossover is classed as luck imo it still takes skill to win these kind of maps same with boomage too, i bet 50% of the maps i play when im on the server have these types in

well, thats something for Docki as he sets the types for maps
i agree that there are some maps that don't deserve the luck type...

If you needed a minimum of 5 players to gain any extra time bonus points then it would be perfect. Noone would be able to abuse it.
Which makes sense really, if you can start behind 4 other cars and not only win the race, but also finish close to the toptime, then you deserve some extra bonus points anyway......
It'd be a fun twist on an already good system, it would reward skill and sensible racing
And it would punish bad driving, and poor racing.
You can do it adiboy! I know you can! You already did the streak thing with a minimum of 5 players to work!
Comeon stop being so close minded

Whatever we do, we shouldn't go changing it to much, the system is near perfect. Just the problem with "higher ranks being rewarded peanuts from the lower ranks" needs the tweak.

Its gotta have been 6months since last reset, so many maps have been changed, so yes alot are impossible bugged times.
If we put in a player limit for toptimes then abviously you'd wanna delete old times and start afresh with shiny new protected toptimes.
If not then dont bother, cuz they will only get slowly bugged again
