OMG How cool does it get?? You get to film videos in-game and edit them in-game also!!! changing camera angle and things like this when editing, posting the video online so everyone can see it! And the game its almost here, its DECEMBER 2ND now
I bet this game will be one of the Best Games Ever! don't you think the same?

No. Experience said that.
Ppl thought that HL2, FarCry, San Andreas, etc would be best games ever, but then again, time passed and people started talking about some other best games ever. That'll happen with this too.
And what makes a game best? Number of ppl who play it? Then its counter-strike and mmorpg. Insane requirements? Then its every new game with fat budget.
Y am I always flammer? LOL

Best Game Ever? Nah, that term is bounced about so much it's lost all meaning.
It does look like a lot of fun though, and I've had it on pre-order since the 8th of August, lol.

Do you really think you'll be able to play it online without a valid serial??

Numb nuts.
GTA IV PC reviewed by PC Gamer Posted by adamcs at 19:11. Category: General
A user called daxlax at our forums has posted a mini-summary of a new (6-page) review by PC Gamer UK:
* Keyboard and Mouse feels effortless to drive with, there seems no issues with this combo in general (mouse obviously being brilliant to aim with). * Wall hugging bugs from console has made it to PC - When up against certain walls or cars you still sometimes can't always peak around to shoot which causes some frustration to the player. * Bizarre decision has been made regarding multiplayer - You need to log into Rockstar's Social club AND Windows Live to be be able to log into the game online. (Eh?) * Game looks amazing with a Dual Core and a 8800 card. It did have some major framerate wobbles, "nothing fatal though" insists the reviewer. * The game scored 92% and also got the "MUST BUY" badge.

When's the patch out for it then? lol
Anyway, I'm having it bought for xmas. Played it on my mates 360 and thought it looked good, but wasnt that impressed with controls and physics. Hopefully it'll feel better on the PC.

Can't believe this shite about having to log into Rockstar's Social Club and Windows Live to be able to play the thing online, fking typical load of bollocks that. Isnt it enough that we're paying £40 or however much for the game itself!! Social networking my arse.

Looks like it'll be possible to host your own dedicated server. It also looks like it'll be ridiculously expensive :/

A server is something we need to give careful consideration to if and when we do finally get around to getting our own, cos it's commitment - for one, donations, always a problem, don't want some poor sod fronting the bill every month and having to chase people around for coin, hitman?!
I think we'd be ok with something like a 22 slot server too, i'm not sure we have that many active members anyway, and as far as i'm aware you can reserve slots, or just kick people to make room
It would be ideal to own our own, and like Mystic said, get in on the act asap. Alternative is to wait a while and see what's what, if we'd be fine hogging someone elses server. Probably best to see how well the game does and how much interest there is to begin with. I'm sure there'll be lots, but there are a lot of PC owners who have consoles and already own the game, would they want to buy it twice?

No, I missed off the VAT, which makes it something like £25, which in Euro's at the current rate would be 29.50 or there abouts..So if you want to be really pedantic, less than 30 E's, but..not by much.

Get on the blower, don't wait until it doesn't come tomorrow mate.
Paid £35 at Game this aft, well what the hell. Took 5 miniutes just to install Windows Live and RC. 1/3 of the way through disk one, disk two to go at yet. Had to sacrifice some stuff to fit it on the HD.

Thanks for that useful bit of info Whiskey, but my problems run a lot deeper than mere GTA4 teething problems. My aging P4 aint up to the task. Where it states Core2 duo on the minimum specs, it does actually mean Core2 Duo... Have to put it on hold until i can sort something out.
