obviously we all wonna give it some welly but have no place to do it. i've grown a bit tired of the usual driving things that teenagers usually do.
is there a place where i can take a car, preferably not pay anything and thrash it about the place. i've seen top gear go to Pendine Sands in wales a couple of times but i dont know if i'll be allowed to do what they do on there, drive at 200kmph and so on.. if anyone knows plz enlighten me
please any input will be apriciated, i'm looking for racetracks preferable free, abandonned airports that can be broken into, massive beaches with solid sand like pendine sands or a beach in liverpool and whatever...
racedays are a joke at £150 a pop, large carparks are dangerous
oh yea has to be in the uk or fairly close in france.

Pendine Sands is a definite no-no, cars haven't been allowed on there for years (unless you're 'special').

Lucky you own a car that's actually worth the effort of finding somewhere to drive it fast. I have a 1.2 8-valve Punto... Yeah, you heard me, EIGHT FUCKING VALVE. It's only 2002, didn't know they still made 8 valve engines. Lucky to do 90 in the thing. But I guess it's better than walking... just. It has actually hit the tonne once, downhill on a motorway, lol.

you need a good fast car to succesfully make a car go sideways and come out of it with at least some accelleration.. try that in a punto and you'll grind to a half or flip the fuckin thing..
we have mountain lanes up here dangerous as fuck likely to kill you if u fall off, but so much fun doing 60mph across them at night!
not my things these days though, lost my bottle with age

yea that racetrack in germany is called the nurburgring, here in UK they have similar type of things called race days but it costs £150 a day! so i wanted large open spaces for free.
btw a mate of a mate of mine modified a similar car to a punto called the metro (tiny old boxy thing, very shit). he put a 2L twin turbo charged engine into the back of it, made it rear wheel drive and now it goes like hell; sideways, backwards, on the roof, you name it. still looks the same though...crap

A few chrimbos ago my sister bought her boyfriend a race day ticket, cost somewhere between £50 and £100 for the day. After roughly a 1 hour safety lecture they went out and took turns on a sort of short rally course, followed by timetrials on a tarmac curcuit. Spent the whole day there, i went along to watch, looked like a lot of fun. Can't remember exactly where tho, outskirts of Hull.

I learnt alot of driving skills doing handbrake turns and Jturns in carparks, the only thing dangerous is the person behind the wheel
