Just a quick reminder that this month's championship closes next week. Xavi and JohnySK are currently way ahead, but there's still time to rack up a bundle of points and knock them off the top ;) 3rd, 4th and 5th place are all very close at the moment.

OMFG, I'm not gonna win.
I had about 999 toptimes until [SKC]BumZilla pwned my arse off and I got about 1 left. That one was my luck aswell lol.

Hi, can the records be saved? In my case if someone breaks my time, it pushes me to see where I could have gone faster. Perhaps other members think about this the same way. This would make us better drivers. And that is what the most of us are aiming at eh?

lol yeh, i guess skey has a point, we can make a skill-ratio top just that stats are only recorded when there are at least 7-10 players online

I think it's needless fiddling. Who's going to be first to call Bernie and tell him that the points system in F1 is terrible and that they should be counting the number of wins unless more than ten people drop out and only if their best lap time is divisible by 3? :P

We are not changing any stats system. Especially not now, three weeks into our mini-championship. I am hoping that when MTA:DM comes out we can come up with a stats system that is very detailed and you can do anything with, but until then, it's not changing.

Is it really that much trouble? It doesnt even have to be integrated with the site or the other stats. Just let it run alongside the regular statssystem. It doesn't have to be taken in account for the championship either.

Just have a !skillratio: shows ur own ratio
!top3 skillratio: best 3 online
!top skillratio: best 3 over all.

If adi can script it, there's no reason not to imo.

Congratulations to the following people who have all won a little shield under their names on their forum posts ;)

Race
1st place - [SKC]Xavi (5575 points)
2nd place - Johny[SK] (5312 points)
3rd place - [SKC]BumZilla (4777 points)

Deathmatch
1st place - [SKC]Nextion[NL] (684 wins)
2nd place - [SKC]Mugen[NL] (601 wins)
3rd place - [THE]Victor (359 wins)

Quick whinge - neither Nextion or Mugen had asked me to merge their old nick with their SKC nick. As a result, they both had two entries in the DM stats. If you become an SKC member or simply want to change your in-game nick mid-championship, send me a PM and I'll sort it out for you. It doesn't happen automatically :P

Anyway, the stats have been archived and I may put them on the site when I eventually work out the best way to do it. The championship for February has now started and everyone's stats has been cleaned, but the map times (including top times) will stay for the time being.

The DD champ this month was especially controversial, due to buggy scripts and accusations of cheating and buggery. It is worth mentioning that if at any point in the future a championship winner (or someone in 2nd or 3rd place) is found to have been cheating at all, either by using programs or by attempting to fiddle the stats, will be banned and have their ever-so-important championship status removed. Nevertheless, this is how the result stands.

Well done to you lot and good luck for April's championship.
