There's a man called Johnny Chung Lee who amongst other things has come up with inotive new ways of using your wiimote with your pc. The first time I saw these videos I was gob smacked, then when I tried the whiteboard and VR headtracking for myself I could hardly control myself. Jumping around the room laughing I was. I used the whiteboard technique and played on my sig on my projector, felt like I was using really real life decks. Check it out and prepare to be amazed. ;D

Great lol. I don't have a projector but in school we use "SMART" Boards which have the same effect. You can control anything on the board with your fingers. The Wii is noticabilly cheaper than a SMART brard worth half a grand so yeh, great.

Here are the IR pens I have made:
Pen 1:
I bodged this together to test the whiteboard. Just stuck a IRled in the end of a maglite type thing.
Pen 2:
Bought all the workings from Maplins for a couple of quid. The case was made out of a ShakePop sweet holder. Works very well and the shape makes it comfortable to grip.
Pen 3:
The spraycan! Made the same way as pen 2, but the switch is attatched to the spray head which houses the IRled. I used two hair wax containers to make the can (don't try and use a real spray can, it'll blow up in your face(disclaimer for idiots)). This works great, it feels like you're using a real spray can. I did a bit of graffiti art in photoshop and I was quite impressed with the results (video to follow).

That spraycan is genius!
"Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music."

IG is a genius, shame nintendo don't take idea's like this for their game's instead of just continuing to convert console game's to wii. They need to grasp every great idea they can as the wii has so much potential but is over-run with shit childish/ported game's & idea's.
