1 ) Processor: It's a Core2Duo E4300 overclocked to 2.8ghz.
2 ) HDD (Hard-Drive): I think I have two 200gb drives and 250gb.
3 ) RAM: 2gb.
4 ) Graphics card: Geforce 7600GT (256mb, off the top of my head).
5 ) Screen size (in inches): The main screen is a 20" widescreen.
6 ) Ready made (from store) or custom built: Self-built.
7 ) How much did you pay? (optional): It's been upgraded over the years so can't really give a good answer.
8 ) Internet speed?: 12mbps download, 1.5mbps upload.
You could have posted your own while you were here, killer :p

Right. I am deciding on a new PC and building t is not a problem. I just need to know what I can get in a ₤600 - ₤650 budget. I need a little help on deciding. The main one is graphics card. I'm not sure which one is best to buy. I'm not upto-date with everything so that's where I need a little hand.
My question is: Which is the best graphics card I can buy which can play some top level games for a decent price?

agreed, 8800gt is your only option imho
The real challenge will be to build a rig that will unleash all of the 8800gt's power within your price range.

Have a look
This doesnt include an operating system, keyboard or any other peripherals.

beats all the other cards at it's price range, but you'll need a decent power supply unit,

I had GeForce 8600 GT on my old computer, and all games i got run just fine.
Price of that here in finland is about 100 €, and performance/price ratio is maybe in top10(?)
It works on older systems too, and even then u can get all the power out of it.

I recommend it, because it fits well in your budged, and if u want, buy SLI board and two of them?
