Guys, I wanted to know if by any chance could not raise the minimum ping for activation of ghost mod for MS 300/350, it is the following, the countries of Latin amerca (Brazil, Venezuela, Chile, ...) are who suffer most due to distance, but you see, I, like most here have seen, I am not lag and I can play very well with 270 ping, laga for me would be a player with 900 ping and 12 fps, and is a shame because due to automatic GM can not win many points and cash tw ('ve had many issues regarding this), well, then so was wondering if it is possible, because the ping of my continent is the MS 240-300 normal, but we are not lag.

Yes seriously, I did!

It was me who argued that we needed 'autoghost' back in time when the server had less control and laggers were more prolific.

Fast foward a few years to now, people have better connections, and we can play someone from other side of the planet with a ping <350ms

Like unknown said, he can race fine, he doesnt lag, but server wont let him race (wtf?!)

I asked for GM toptimes because that is fine, but some strange people here seem to think that means more ghosts. Main reason for more ghosts is the autoghost set too low, not noobs trying to break TTs in GM lol.

I say, let them Race, let them have fun. Its why we are still here.

Can't we just give them what they want and end this debate once and for all. Hardly anyone who might give a damn goes on the server regularly enough to give a damn anyway. Err, I think that makes sense.

An unstable ping is far worse than a high ping anyways.

A bit off topic but i cant be arsed making my own thread.

So i started playing again recently and i must say the amount of players running in ghost mode is sad this is supposed to be a race server but most of the time you get to race with maybe 2 to 3 non ghosted players which makes it pretty boring TBH and if it carrys on like this i doubt i will be back playing for long.

Ghost mode is a cool feature and an absolute saint for helping with AFK's but its taking away from how the server should be if its a race server it should be disabled and really only used for afk's and stupidly high pings and maybe the occasional cunt.

Am i on my own with this or what?

Edit: maybe i should have made my own topic lol.

Its also pretty annoying leaving room round a corner only to find out you left that room for a ghost mode pussy :twisted:

Everything is up for debate. Disabling ghostmode could very well be considered. I definitely wouldn't mind some more wheel-to-wheel action.

I was like that too when I started playing again...was it 2 years ago already? Over the time u get used to it. When the server is packed, mw times especially, u get many guys with GM OFF.
